You can register in person at Darlington or Cockerton branch by showing proof of identity. There is no minimum age, but anyone under the age of 16 years will require a signature from a parent or guardian.

Digital membership

Please use our online form if you would like to request a digital membership.

This will give you basic library membership with access to online resources.

Digital membership will last for one year, after which you will be asked if you would like to renew.

You may activate your full library membership at any time. This will allow you to borrow books and access library computer facilities. To upgrade you will need to provide identification at either of our branches. You will then be given your library membership card.
